Get the scoop on how to get gorgeous lashes, below.

1. Cleanse Your Eyelids Twice a Day
Just like keeping your scalp clean helps keep your hair as healthy as possible, cleansing your eyelids keeps your lashes healthy. To properly take care of your lashes, cleansing them twice a day helps keep everything from debris to makeup out of that area. You can use a face wash, micellar water, oil cleanser, cream cleanser or foaming cleanser to give your eyelids a good, thorough cleanse. This will allow your lashes to look their best.

2. Boost Sparse Areas
Many women deal with “bald” areas on their lash line due to a variety of causes. These can range from sleeping face-down to nervous picking habits to the mistake with a lash curler. Lash extensions or false lashes are a good fix for sparse lashes. They help fill out these thinner areas by concentrating more lashes in areas where you need a more lush fringe effect.

3. Incorporate Lash Boost into Your Routine
The appearance of fuller, darker and longer-looking lashes. Sound good to you? Then let’s talk about the benefits of applying a lash serum and achieving the appearance of fuller-looking lashes without extensions —and even without mascara.

Lash Boost is a total game changer when it comes to strengthening your lashes and keeping them as healthy as possible. Lash Boost conditions lashes by attracting and maintaining moisture to nourish the lashes and promote flexibility and resilience. It nourishes the lashes to enhance lash durability, supporting more the appearance of voluminous-looking lashes. Lash Boost also protects your lashes.

Routine is key when it comes to using this product. And with regular evening applications, you’ll see results. If used as suggested, over time you will see the appearance of longer, fuller, darker-looking lashes. The product is intended to help with thin, sparse lashes by helping them to maintain moisture, enhance lash durability and protect against breakage.

Use Lash Boost once daily, at night. Apply it to the upper lash line only and follow these steps for best results.

Step 1. Remove makeup and cleanse your face.
Step 2. Dry your eyelids and lashes completely.
Step 3. Apply Lash Boost only along the upper lash line of both eyes. Dip the brush once per eye. Wipe any excess product off the brush before applying.
Step 4. Gently wipe off any excess serum from your eyelids or lashes.

Important to note: Do not wash your face or eye area after applying. Wait approximately 90 seconds for Lash Boost to dry before going to sleep or applying other skincare products around your eye area. Avoid your eyelids and your lashes when applying any product to the eye area, including eye cream.

After seeing what Lash Boost can do for their lashes, many women also like to use it on their brows. This helps create the appearance of a thicker, more robust and on-trend brow look. This can combat over-plucking done decades ago or even recently.

4. Condition Your Lashes
Keep that fantastic fringe moisturized! Just like the hair on your head, lashes benefit from conditioning. It helps keep them looking their best and healthiest. You can buy a small dropper container of sweet almond oil or castor oil to apply to your lashes every night to help keep them hydrated, nourished and healthy. Castor oil also helps gives lashes shine and luster.

5. Try Using a Silk Pillowcase
You may already know that a silk pillowcase is great for your skin and hair. It’s also good for your lashes! Especially if you’re a side or stomach sleeper. Investing in a silk pillowcase will cause less friction on those lashes, allowing you keep them in better condition, naturally shedding at the end of their growth cycle.

6. Remove Makeup Gently
Removing your makeup and sunscreen before you wash your face is important to ensure your skin is as clean as possible before you apply any nighttime products. This helps make sure they work their best.

Use a makeup wipe, micellar water or an oil cleanser before your cream or foaming wash to fully remove all traces of foundation, primer and SPF. Tip: Use a white towel to dry your face post-wash so you can be sure that there’s no makeup left on your face.

7. Be Gentle with Your Lashes
It’s super important to be gentle with your lashes. That means don’t tug on them when removing eye makeup at the end of the day. Use a makeup wipe, makeup remover or oil cleanser with a soft washcloth and warm water to take off eye makeup carefully. Using a mascara that’s easy to remove can help make this process a little easier for you.

Waterproof mascara, while a great choice for warm summer months, can take a little extra time and elbow grease to remove at the end of the day. Many brands make wonderful washable formulas that stay on in heat and humidity. Removing mascara or waterproof mascara can tug and pull on lashes, leading to damage of the follicles. Make sure to be gentle when removing mascara to limit damage and keep lashes intact.
